Here at Keim Lumber we manufacture our own line of moldings & millwork building supplies for residential and commercial use. By paying attention to quality control at every stage of the milling process, we can provide a precisely-designed, high-quality product. The finished product will have been created using maximum efficiency, minimal waste, and a lower final cost.
We at Keim Lumber dry much of our own lumber. Keim has invested in some of the latest equipment, technology, and training to be able to deliver quality material at a reasonable price. Our technicians are routinely checking their work allowing them to maintain precision quality as well as profile consistency from run to run on our 7 multi-head molders. To ensure minimal sanding for our customers, our stock molding, S4S, and panel stock is sanded on a double-head wide belt sander and/or our profile sander.
Keim Lumber maintains a stock of over 1-1/2 million linear feet of molding (over 280 miles). Our millwork shop stocks molding in over 200 different profiles and 10 different species of wood, (oak, poplar, pine, cherry, walnut, birch, hard maple, hickory, quarter sawn white oak), as well as soft maple paint grade and finger-jointed poplar for painting.
